Possible issue with security lock on IPhone 6

Saving screens works in album but when I try to use from lock screen it is not responding to touch. Changed settings to use maximum data and still nothing. Im thinking its blocked because I have a security passcode turned on for obvious reasons. Unfortunate because Im not willing to turn it off. Its not just this app either its other developers as well.
